The main bike path in West Carrollton is part of a larger series of bike trails in the Miami Valley region that span 52 continuous miles from Franklin to Troy. The trails are well maintained and will take travelers through diverse terrains from open fields to urban cities. Whether walking, running or biking, visitors to the path can often spot great blue heron, kingfisher, beaver, white-tailed deer and more. The bike paths are a regional asset offering opportunities for exercise, recreation and fun!
The West Carrollton YMCA focuses on building strong communities and families through spirit, mind and body. The center is for members of all ages and features a complete fitness and wellness center, gymnasium, indoor swimming pool, indoor track, free babysitting for members, and much more! Wilson Park Pool
Visitors to the pool can enjoy its lush park setting. The pool boasts a zero-depth entry, a large shallow water play area, a raindrop fountain, a jet spray wall, water slide, two diving boards, and an 8-lane 25-meter racing tank. A separate, fenced wading pool is available to toddlers. The pool facility also includes a large grass sunbathing area, two picnic shelters, a bathhouse, and concession stand. Wilson Pool offers a variety of swim programs for kids of all ages, as well as various special events throughout the summer, including Movie Nights and the annual Doggie Dive.
